I’ve walked the same road you’re on.
For 44 years I served as a pastor and missionary. Then the title came off — and I stepped into the exact same wide-open quiet you may be facing right now. The question that met me there is the one that meets everyone at this crossroads: Who am I when the title is gone?
I discovered what so many do: the workplace was never the spark. It was how I paid the bills and raised a family. The spark — the gifts, the calling, the fire God placed in me — was still there, waiting to be fanned into flame. Ignite Retirement grew out of that discovery.
